Urban Promise • Camden, NJ
Wilson Memorial Church has a long standing relationship with Urban Promise in Camden, NJ. Teens have participated in week-long mission trips and other events. More recently both teens & adults joined together for a Day of Service at Urban Promise to ready the facility for the upcoming summer season. We will continue that event this year on June 20th.
We will gather at Urban Promise in Camden, NJ for a one-day service project. The projects to be completed are designed for 14 years and older. Group transportation from Wilson Memorial Church details will be determined when participants are finalized.
Upon arrival the Urban Promise leaders will give a brief overview of Urban Promise, the work projects for the day, and some logistical details.
Urban Promise will have water bottles for anyone who needs them. Please pack a lunch.
After lunch we will return to finish the work projects. We will depart Urban Promise at 4pm.
*Youth under 14 are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent to watch them and make sure that they are occupied and safe.
**If you would like to participate but can only commit to a half day, you are welcome to attend and contribute for whatever time you are able.
