Welcome Interim Pastor Ryan Irmer
Pastor Ryan Irmer currently serves as the Interim Pastor at Wilson Memorial Church. For nearly
a decade, he has been an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA). Recently, the
International Council of Community Churches granted him special ministerial standing,
providing him with the authority to perform all necessary pastoral duties. Ryan deeply enjoys his
connection with Wilson Memorial Church, its staff, volunteers, and the Watchung community.
Rev. Irmer previously served at Long Valley Presbyterian Church. Before that, he was the pastor
at Slackwood Presbyterian Church in Lawrence, New Jersey, as well as an Associate Pastor at

University of California, Santa Barbara and is currently pursuing a Spiritual Director
Certification at Francis House of Prayer. Before his calling as a pastor, Ryan worked for over a
decade as a teacher and a basketball coach.
